Tour of Mitchell’s Ice cream Cleveland

Saturday, October 10, 2015, 5:30 pm

Where did you get your Ice cream fix at Harvard? In my day, we could choose from Chocolate Moose, Steve’s, Farrell’s, or Haagen Dazs. How did they make it so delicious? On Saturday, October 10th, you can find out how Mitchell's make their scrumptious ice cream using natural and local ingredients during a tour of the new production facility on 1867 West 25th. The Mitchell Brothers, Pete and Mike, started this local ice cream business in 1999 and have been growing ever since. The newest addition to the Mitchell's family, the Ohio City Kitchen and Shop, was once an old movie theater and is now the hub for all things Mitchell's. After the tour, why not plan to have dinner at one of the many fabulous restaurants in the neighborhood? We’ll meet in the upstairs mezzanine for a brief tour that begins at 5:30 pm sharp. Parking can be found on the street or in the very big parking lot that extends behind the store and the West Side Market. $5 for kids under 12, $10 for adults, or $20 for the whole family.
