Scavenger Hunt at the Cleveland Museum of Art
Friday, March 9, 2018
The Harvard Club of Northeast Ohio will present its annual multi-alumni-club art scavenger hunt at CMA on Friday, March 9, 2018 starting at 6:30 p.m. We will finish by 8 pm. Last year, 220 people from 37 alumni clubs had a great time!
Did you know? All proceeds will go to provide college scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors in Cleveland public high schools. Awarded students can use them at any college or university. Last year, we gave away $2,000.
So how does it work? Using photos of tiny sections of art works in the CMA galleries as hints, teams will compete to identify them. A team is any group of one to four people who decide to work together. Clubs can enter unlimited numbers of teams.
Cost: $15 for adults and kids 12 and older. Kids 11 and under are free--send John an email to RSVP for the freebie kids: email@example.com
Here’s how the evening will proceed: We’ll meet at 6:30 p.m. sharp in the amazing Atrium. At 6:45 we’ll send you off to two seven-question hunts. The soonest turned-in perfect score team entry for each hunt wins a four-person prize. At 7:30, with the hunts completed, we’ll all meet back in the Atrium. While our board members figure out who won, everybody else can buy drinks and appetizers from the Museum’s bar. We can all hang out there until the Museum closes at 9 p.m.
How do you register?
>>>Click here for tickets.<<< Harvard grads, please sign in using your Harvard Key.
WARNING--PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE. CMA is refusing to allow us to take cash or checks in the Atrium, so if you don’t register and pay on line, you MUST go to Classroom A in the basement to pay. You will see signs directing you there from the front entrance and from the Level 2 glass-doors entrance from the parking garage.
After you have completed payment, you will be prompted for Guest Names and Organization (college name). Put your one-word club affiliation, e.g. Antioch, Michigan, etc., in the Organization field to help us keep the total reservations for each group.
Online registration will close at 2pm Friday, March 9, 2018. After that, you may only pay with cash or check in Classroom A from 6 to 6:30 pm.
