The Harvard Club of Northeast Ohio will present its Annual Multi-Alumni Club Art Scavenger Hunt at the Cleveland Museum of Art on Friday, April 17, 2020, starting at 5:30 p.m. We will finish by 8:30 p.m. Last year we had over 400 participants from more than 35 schools and raised $5,000 for a great cause!
Did you know? All proceeds will go to provide some funding for college expenses to outstanding graduating seniors in Cleveland Metropolitan School District high schools. Awarded students can use them at any college or university.
So how does it work? Using photos of tiny sections of art works in the CMA galleries as hints, teams will compete to identify the work. A team is any group of one to four people who decide to work together. Clubs can enter unlimited numbers of teams.
How much does it cost? $15 per person (13 and older). Kids 12 and under are free.
Here’s how the evening will proceed:
First, everyone will register in Classroom A in the lower level of the museum. You will see signs directing you there from the front entrance and from the entry from level P2 of the garage.
A change from years past, after you register, you will complete the two hunts at your leisure, but before 8:00.
When you are finished you will come to our table at the Café to score your answers.
If you get all the questions right, we will include your hunt in our drawing of winners at the end of the evening.
When your team finishes your hunts, you can enjoy drinks and appetizers from the Museum’s café until 8:00. We can all hang out together until the Museum closes at 9:00.
At 8:15 sharp we will draw team names from our batch of winners of each hunt to determine who wins our four-person prizes.
