Join us at the holden arboretum to learn about ohio's forest

 

When: Saturday, August 27th from 1:30-2:30 pm

Where: The Holden Arboretum's Visitor Center in Kirtland

Conservation Biologist, Michael Watson, will reveal how geology, glacial activity, human history, and ecological interactions shape Ohio’s forests. Past and present forest types across Ohio, as well as the Arboretum’s current dominant forest types and the plants and animals associated with these forests, will be highlighted.

Come early and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the Arboretum's many picnic tables located near the Visitor's Center or just walk around the beautiful gardens.  Harvard Club Board members will be there starting at noon.  Look for our Harvard banner.

Price: $10 for adults

       $5 ages 10-17

Under age 10 free

Limited to 50 attendees.  Masks are required for indoor lecture only.
