Our speaker will be louis rorimer '69 talking about his father, James Rorimer, class of 1927 and WWII Monuments Man

Based on his father's book, Monuments Man, his first-hand account of service as a monuments officer during World War II.  Born in Cleveland, James Rorimer received a Fine Arts degree in 1927 from Harvard College.  In 1943 he volunteered for the Army where he helped recover works of art the Nazis had stolen, as depicted in the 2014 movie, "The Monuments Men."
