SUCCESSFUL ROAD PAINTING BY ROADPRINTZ AT SPRING DINNER
After enjoying an entertaining and informative presentation on how robots can paint on roadways more safely and, in many cases, more accurately than the current stencil approach, the Club ventured to the parking lot of the CSC for a demonstration of the technology.
With precision and excellent penmanship, the Roadprintz robot arm painted “SLOW” on the driveway in a few minutes. Members were impressed with the completed driving speed recommendation as the robot adjusted to provide crisp writing on a rather uneven surface.
