Join local Harvard and MIT alumni as we volunteer at the Cleveland Kids' Book Bank! Share reminiscences about your favorite childhood stories while sorting and packing donations for area children.
The Cleveland Kids' Book Bank (https://www.kidsbookbank.org) fosters literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children in need through collaborations with community partners. The nonprofit has distributed 4.4 million books to over 100,000 kids in the Greater Cleveland area and continues to distribute 45,000 books each month.
Our activities will include checking the condition of donated books and sorting and boxing them. We will stand for extended periods of time, although some tasks may be performed while seated.
Volunteers must be 13 or older, and wear closed toe/closed heel footwear.
