Share holiday cheer with fellow alumni at this yearly tradition! 

Our speaker will be Taraneh Meshkani, Ph.D. presenting on her research into how AI can process and visualize complex urban data, driving more informed and equitable decisions. 

Dr. Meshkani is an Assistant Professor at Kent State University's College of Architecture & Environmental Design.  She holds a doctoral degree from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. Formerly a member of the editorial board of New Geographies Journal and co-editor-in-chief of Geographies of Information, Meshkani’s work explores the intersection of spatial inequalities and conflict with socio-political and environmental issues. Her research sheds light on the impact of the built environment on marginalized communities and investigates strategies to address these disparities.

Lunch will be a choice of chicken, salmon or vegan options.  Cash bar.
